Solution
Hosted on the Council’s virtual server, car park counts are generated from each car park, sent via GPRS to a central software platform, and then distributed through their network of overhead Variable Message Signs situated at major incoming routes to the city.
Result
This system in its entirety has been instrumental in enticing shoppers back to the CBD while also informing the public of any major road works or council roading/parking initiatives and events by way of a central message system. ASL designed, manufactured and installed the VMS system and continues to upgrade it as the network of signs expands.
