Britomart Oriental Carpark
The brand new facility is arguably the most well presented, fully featured carpark in NZ. Comprising of around 1200 parking spaces including carwash, valet and supplementary services. Automated Solutions Ltd provided not only the high end ENTERVO system from Scheidt and Bachmann including EFTPOS, special paint effect and large displays, but also the AVPM valet system using wireless barcode devices and touch screen Point of Sale devices and the impressive 65+ camera digital CCTV system which provides operational management cameras as well as general security coverage throughout the complex. In addition to this ASL also oversaw the access control system installation and have integrated all systems together to provide a one card solution. |

Hamilton City Council
In 2010 ASL was awarded the tender for Hamilton City Council CBD real time parking signage project. The intention of this project was to provide advanced information informing drivers of the number of car park spaces available in various central city public car parks. Hosted on the Council’s virtual server, car park counts are generated from each car park, sent via GPRS to a central software platform and distributed through their network of overhead Variable Message Signs situated at major incoming routes to the city. This system in its entirety has been instrumental in enticing shoppers back to the CBD while also informing the public of any major road works or council roading/parking initiatives and events by way of a manual message system. ASL designed, manufactured and installed the VMS system and continues to upgrade it as the network of signs expand. |

The Plaza Shopping Centre
This shopping centre is one of the busy carparks using the Scheidt and Bachmann automated parking equipment in New Zealand, with an amazing average of 5000 cars per days using this parking facility. The Plaza is a large complex site with multiple entries and exits and a large volume of Paystations allowing all visitors to the centre a pleasant parking experience. |

The Waitemata District Health Board
The WDHB contract consists of two fully automated parking sites that are situated 25kilometers apart. ASL have successfully completed the installations of both sites. The Waitakere Hospital is controlled from the North Shore Hospital. All communications are directed back to the comms room at North Shore where an attendant has the ability to control either site with ease. This has proven to be a very successful project for the WDHB and continues to grow daily. |

The Crowne Plaza
ASL originally installed Scheidt & Bachmann parking system in 2002 comprising of five paystations, two entries, two exits, one nesting area and two manual pay locations. 10 years later the Atrium carpark is still a very busy carpark with the equipment running strong. To keep up with the times the Atrium is now upgrading their system with the expert help of ASL. This will involve brand new EFTPOS equipment coupled with the latest S & B Software release, ETERVO. The Atrium have also gone one step further and will be deploying a License Plate Recognition system to further enhance their successful carpark operation, including the ability to integrate the complete with the hotel reservations system. |

Bayswater Marina
In the area of Bayswater sits a bustling marina that also runs a ferry terminal allowing hundreds of people to commute daily to and from the city. ASL was able to assist the marina with their parking issues by designing a tailored system to suit the Marina members and commuters. The system installed at the marina consists of a Scheidt and Bachmann parking system, a validation system and an License Plate Recognition systems. These three system integrate together to create a working parking environment. Commuters are able to park as causal parkers and then have the tickets validated on the ferry prior, casual parkers simply park and pay at the Paystations. The license Plate recognition system takes care of all the marina members/berth holders and public transport vehicles. The system has been installed for numbers of years and is very much suited to the requirements of the marina and transport facility. |

Christchurch City Council
The Christchurch City Council project consists of the parking equipment to the eight central city carparks. The original systems in these sites were manned cashiers. ASL are in the process of changing these sites to a fully automated system in which all eight sites are controlled through one central control point using a virtual PC hosted on the Councils IT infrastructure. ASL started this project prior to the initial earthquake and had successfully completed for of the eight sites. Unfortunately the project is currently on hold until further direction from the Council due to the very sad situation in Christchurch. ASL will continue to support Christchurch through these immensely hard times and once they are back on their feet we will resume works, complete the repairs required and roll out the remaining four sites. ASL will be very proud to assist in the rebuild of Christchurch and our thoughts are with those effected |
